Manage Token Guide

Learn how to edit and configure your token's settings after creation

Introduction

This guide explains how to manage your token's settings after it has been created. As a token owner, you have the ability to modify various aspects of your token's configuration to optimize its performance and appeal.

Accessing the Management Panel

To manage your token:

  1. Navigate to your token's page (e.g., /token/[your-token-address])
  2. Connect your wallet (must be the owner wallet that created the token)
  3. Click the "Manage Token" button on your token's page
  4. The management modal will open with three tabs: General, Rewards, and Social Media

Owner Access Only

Only the wallet that created the token can access the management panel. If you've lost access to your owner wallet, you won't be able to modify your token's settings.

General Settings

The General tab allows you to modify the basic configuration of your token.

Available Settings

Developer Wallet

The wallet address that receives the developer fee portion of transactions. You can update this to a new wallet if needed.

Burn Percentage

Percentage of tokens to burn during transactions (0-10%). Adjusting this can impact your token's deflationary characteristics.

Minimum Token Holding

The minimum amount of tokens a wallet must hold to receive distributions. Set to 0 for no minimum.

Token Status & Visibility

Enable or disable reward distributions and control whether your token appears in public listings.

Rewards Settings

The Rewards tab lets you configure how distributions work and what tokens your holders receive.

Reward Token Types

  • Solana (SOL): Distribute SOL to token holders. This is the most liquid option.
  • Current Token: Distribute your token to holders, creating a compounding effect.
  • Other Token: Distribute any other token to holders (requires token address).

Distribution Modes

Standard

Distribute rewards proportionally to all eligible holders based on their token holdings.

Random Jackpot

Distribute the entire reward to a randomly selected holder. Creates excitement and lottery-like mechanics.

Top Holders

Distribute rewards to the largest holders only, incentivizing larger holdings.

Multiple Rewards (Advanced)

Configure rotation between different reward tokens to provide holders with diverse assets:

  • Enable rotation between different reward tokens
  • Set the rotation interval (minimum 20 minutes)
  • Add multiple token addresses to the rotation

Pro Tip: Using multiple reward tokens can make your token more attractive by offering a basket of different assets to holders.

Social Media Settings

The Social Media tab allows you to provide links to your project's online presence.

Available Links

  • Website URL: Your project's official website
  • X.com / Twitter: Your project's Twitter account
  • Telegram: Your project's Telegram group or channel

These links will be displayed on your token's page and landing page, making it easy for users to connect with your community.

Managing Your Changes

How to Save Changes

  1. Navigate through the tabs by clicking "Next" or "Previous"
  2. Make your desired changes
  3. On the final tab, click "Save Settings"
  4. After successful save, the page will automatically refresh with your updated settings

Important Notes

  • Only the token owner can modify token settings
  • Ensure all wallet and token addresses are valid Solana addresses
  • Token burn percentage cannot exceed 10%
  • Minimum rotation interval for multiple rewards is 20 minutes
  • Hidden tokens are still accessible via direct link but won't appear in public listings

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues when trying to update your token:

  • Verify you're connected with the correct wallet that owns the token
  • Check that all addresses are valid Solana addresses
  • Ensure all required fields are properly filled
  • Try refreshing the page and attempting the update again
